About identity crisis

identity crisis is a five piece function band, playing a wide variety of music from the 50’s to the present day. Our set list is packed with classics from artists as diverse as The Beatles and Beverley Knight, to Chuck Berry and The Scissor Sisters.

We play regularly all over Bucks, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, and Oxfordshire, but we’re more than happy to travel further for a good pub gig, private party, wedding or special occasion.

Deb – Vocals & Tambourine

The soul of the band and commanding officer, Deb has a voice that can adapt to many styles… from the laid back ”Stand by You’ to the power of ‘Little Piece of my Heart’. Her tambourine playing isn’t bad either!

Rick – Guitar & Vocals

The battle-hardened Rick has spent many years as a pro and semi-pro musician. He plays great rhythm and lead guitar and can also hold a tune when required!

Dave – Bass & Vocals

After a twenty year break from R&B, followed by a spell in the murky world of folk music, Dave – the elder statesman of the band – has returned to playing proper music that he wants to play and that people want to listen to.

Steve – Keyboard Guitar & Vocals

Steve’s keyboard playing adds great depth and colour to our sound, allowing us to cover many more songs with greater integrity than an entirely guitar based band could achieve. His keyboard skills and variety of stylish headgear are a constant source of amazement.

Warren - Drums

The pulse of the band and the other half of the engine room, Warren is an avid musician and drum teacher. You may not be able to see much of him behind his drums, but he’s always there, providing the rhythmic foundation to our music.
